Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is the internal style of Chinese Kung Fu most known and practiced in the world. Its earliest origins date back to the Song dynasty period (1200 AD) with the Taoist monk Zhang Sanfeng, who became its first master. Today we recognize various styles: the Yang style is the most widely practiced method, the Chen is the oldest and most martial, and there is also the Wu, the Sun and many others. At the Spazio il Sole center we will study the Sun form, of master Sun Lu Tang, which contains the experience of the three internal styles he studied, namely: Tai Chi Chuan, Pa Kua Chang and Hsing I.
The benefits of Tai Chi Chuan are numerous and involve the body in its entirety, both physically and mentally. In particular, the quality of the movements, which are always slow, soft and round, and the importance of the breath, ensure presence, awareness and concentration.

Qi Gong

From the tradition of Chinese culture, we see an ancient Taoist method for maintaining psychophysical and spiritual health. The term Qi Gong or CHI KUNG is commonly translated as: “ Art of the Breath – Working with energy”. Over the centuries, many terms have been used to distinguish various forms of this practice: YANG SHEN GONG translated as “Art of nourishment for the path of life” or also with the term: DAO YIN or TAO YIN translated as “Taoist Gymnastics – Medical Art”.
We work on perfecting the act of breathing, accompanying and coordinating it with the movement of the body, with visualization and with the ever-present power of thought; this creates Qi Gong; that is, The Art.
On these foundations it is possible to eliminate toxins, anxiety and stress, allowing a regular circulatory and energetic flow, thereby controlling emotional states and restoring a regular connection between “Man, Heaven and Earth”.
Among the techniques studied we find classical exercises, family tradition practices and modern methods, such as: The Eight Brocades, The Sinew-Changing Classic, Marrow Washing, The Six Healing Sounds, Health Walks, etc.

Taoist and Buddhist Meditation

Meditation plays a transformative role, changing the inner state by touching the psycho-emotional aspect; this is why practitioners experience feelings of wellbeing arising from the calm in the heart that opens to joy.

In the Taoist and Buddhist traditions, one visualizes the inner landscape, which is the nature within us, activating the functions of the endocrine glands.

Many ancient techniques have come down to us: Chan (the famous technique of emptiness), Taoist internal alchemy, static and moving practices.
