Yoga is a practice that promotes union and balance between body, mind and spirit. Physical exercises called asanas are performed, and certain positions are held to strengthen the body and allow the mind to quieten. A fundamental aspect of yoga is the breath, which is why breathing techniques are practised that bring harmony and have immediate benefits on a physical level too.
Aim: through asanas and breathing techniques we bring body and mind into contact, not letting ourselves be overwhelmed by the constant, uncontrolled activity of our thoughts, but becoming impartial observers. Yoga postures and breathing techniques aim to release physical and mental tension, strengthen the body and clear the blocks and tensions caused by bad habits and an unbalanced lifestyle. It is a practice that aims to create space and quieten the mind, allowing for subtler listening and a more conscious presence in the here and now.
Who it is useful for: it is a practice suitable for all ages and every physical condition. It is particularly recommended for those who feel overwhelmed by the hectic pace of daily life, those who suffer from insomnia or mental hyperactivity, those who do sedentary work and adopt postures that over time cause imbalances or chronic pain, those who suffer from anxiety, and those with breathing problems.
Why take part:
– you will become aware of your breath, increasing your breathing capacity
– you will learn techniques that you can also practise on your own at home
– you will gradually feel your body become more flexible, strong and energetic
– you will learn to listen more deeply to the signals your body gives you
– through practice you will learn not to judge your limits, to accept them and to overcome them step by step through the breath, listening, consistency and willpower
– it will allow you to approach a bodily practice that moves away from the common idea of performance or perfection, towards one of respect and gradual achievement of your own goals, with an attitude of gratitude and respect towards yourself

At 40 I left my “secure” permanent job and chose to devote myself completely to what I love, putting what I have studied and practised for so many years at the service of others.
I am a holistic practitioner specialising in Ayurvedic massage and harmonic sound massage, both disciplines I studied in Italy and abroad and have consolidated over the years with a great deal of practice.
I am a teacher of Azul Conscious Movement, a bodily practice that helps release physical and emotional tension and awakens the life force.
I am a hatha yoga teacher and a laughter yoga leader.
