The course was born from the constant demand for a simple, effective method to relieve the stress, worry and anxiety that seem to accompany us more and more in everyday life.
The method in question came into being towards the end of the 70s thanks to Professor Jon Kabat Zinn, who combined simple mind-training methods with the treatment of pain.
A meditation practitioner, drawing on ancient Vipassana and on Buddhist practices in general.
It later gained more and more ground in psychiatry, thanks to confirmation from various supportive treatments and from research.
This is not about meditation, religion or Buddhist doctrines; the focus is on training the mind, anchoring attention in present listening to dispel the constant thoughts that lower our frequencies and allow illness to enter more freely.
A simple practice, with guidance through various mental exercises in static postures.
The programme is structured in two levels: the first on Mindfulness and the second on Meditation.
